The 4th Air Scouts had a great weekend camping at Rue Mainguy despite the weather being cold and wet. We had great fun pitching our camp, making fires as well as having the opportunity of participating in the annual Jamboree on the Air, where we had the chance to speak to other Scouts all over the world. We were also very lucky to be the first Scout Group on the island to have a go at the newly built High Ropes course in Willow Wood! Please check out our gallery page on the website for photos....
This year the 4th Guernsey Air Scouts took part in the Harbour Carnival! We all did our part to help to design and build our plane, it was a real team effort! We were lucky enough to have Deputy Michelle Le Clerc as our pilot, and she did us proud. The evening was a real success! Lt-Governor Air Marshal Peter Walker presented them with the awards for their responsible behaviour in dealing with the situation. |
