In Guernsey and Alderney Explorer Scouts is available to all male and females aged between 14 and 18 years old who want to have fun and challenge themselvesExplorer Scouts follow a balanced programme, giving young people an opportunity to personally develop in all areas of learning. This is achieved by taking part in a balanced programme divided into:
Explorer Scouts have the opportunity to take part in adventurous activities, local conservation projects, creative projects, camps and expeditions, community support…the list is endless!
Explorer Scouts meet together as a Unit, they are primarily Leader led, with as much participation in decision making by young people as possible.
Explorer Scouts wear a khaki colour shirt (blue for Air/Sea Explorers). They also wear a neckerchief (scarf) and a leather woggle (which keeps their scarf together).
