Explorer Scouts have the opportunity to take part in adventurous activities, local conservation projects, creative projects, camps and expeditions, community support…the list is endless!
Explorer Scouts meet together as a Unit, they are primarily Leader led, with as much participation in decision making by young people as possible. Explorer Scouts wear a khaki colour shirt (blue for Air/Sea Explorers). They also wear a neckerchief (scarf) and a leather woggle (which keeps their scarf together). By making the promise, an important act in Scouting and common to every section – a young person becomes a member of the worldwide movement: The Scout Promise
